Production thesis--The fantastics by Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt

It was the purpose of this study to demonstrate directorial capabilities through (1) analysis of The Fantasticks in terms of its external elements, (2) analysis of The Fantasticks in terms of its internal elements, (3) review and evaluation of the intentions of the author and the composer, (4) analysis of the play from which it was adapted, (3) the presentation of a production of The Fantasticks using the conclusions drawn from these studies, and (6) a post-production evaluation.
