Petroleum industry mergers: an analysis of eight years, 1960-1967.

Although considerable amounts of printed material are available concerning petroleum industry mergers, there are gaps in the data. A common deficiency of previous studies on the subject is a failure to 1ook at sue, mergers from the viewpoint of the petroleum company executive. It is the intent of this work to add value in the resolution of this problem.
