An investigation of the external locus of control framework in chronic hemodialysis patients

The understanding of coping behavior of the hemodialysis patient cannot be complete without an appreciation of the stresses or pressures which generate that behavior. The stresses of kidney disease and hemodialysis contribute to a continued series of crises which involve all phases of the patient's existence as documented by literature. This study will test the external locus of control framework in chronic hemodialysis patients.
