Family planning in Japan: a historical review

This study reviewed the history of family planning in Japan during the past fifty years and sought to determine the factors which have influenced the development of family planning programs there, Also, an overview of Japanese history was included. The study took the form of library research which was conducted in the spring semester of 1971 at Fresno State College. The findings were reported and analyzed with particular emphasis placed on determining what facts enhanced the acceptance of family planning programs in Japan.
