An analysis of the prognostic value of high school bookkeeping to elementary college accounting

The purpose of this study is too analyze the relationship of a high school bookkeeping background to student success in first semester college accounting. The investigation will be developed in light of specific questions which are enumerated below. 1. How do first semester accounting students who have had high school bookkeeping compare in success with those students who have not had high school bookkeeping? 2. Can grades received in high school bookkeeping be used as a suitable tool for the college and high school level of instruction? 3. Of what value is the information to counselors and instructors on both the college and high school level of instruction? The data which constitutes the body of this study will refer to the above named questions.
