Ordering of prenominal adjectives in English

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the nature of the ordering relations among 'co-ordinate* adjectives which precede nouns within a noun phrase in English. The results of the experiments made for this study are compared with some of the earlier opinions of adjective order. Some conclusions are drawn from the results and a measure of predictability of adjective sequences is suggested.
